I always knew she was smart!

The other day while we were finished up dinner. Aynslee was playing with her letter magnets on the fridge. She started making the letter sounds which has been doing for the last several months. I continued on with what I was doing until she started yelling that she had spelled a word. I looked on the fridge and to my surprise and astonishment my 3 year old sounded out and spelled the word CAT all by herself.

Guess What?

Last night was Josh's, "Holiday Party" for his command. They hand out end of the year awards at the party. Josh received the, " Senior Enlisted Shore Sailor of the Year." We are very excited and I am very proud of him.

What does this mean? For a year I get to park in the special parking spot at the commissary. This will also aid him when he goes up for Chief next year.
