Roadside finds

I was outside with the girls this afternoon getting some good playtime outside. Our neighbor came home from work and said she was going down the street to go through some stuff people were throwing out. I've never done this before although I have always wanted to, she scored a box yes a box full of cute shoes. I got a tub full of clothes to give away to a family at church. The girls found some princess wall paper border that matches their room.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one that does?

trying to clean and get things done

That's something that I am always trying to do around here. Avery is just so busy that it's hard to get stuff done. I always have to have her in my sights. If she isn't getting into trouble on her own. Aynslee is terrorizing her.

I was able to get the kitchen some what picked up and the floor mopped. I took the gate down. It might not stay that way, either Avery getting into everything will make me put it back up or the dog getting into everything. I swear it doesn't matter when or how much you feed that dog she is always wanting food. She has gotten so bold as to take it right out of the girls hands if they aren't paying attention.

Yesterday, I finally got a dresser for Avery. It is a small 4 drawer chest. I went by myself to get it. Josh didn't want to go. When I got home he was looking at it with much disapproval, but I guess that's what happens. Every time I'd find one he didn't want to go look at it. Someone finally set an appointment up with me to look so I took it. The paint is a shiney white, we may end up repainting it. Although my husband said he needed to "fix" a few things on it. I may never get it in from the garage. I went to Home Depot after I bought it to get some contact paper for the drawers and knobs. They only have plain white which is fine but I'd like something a little girlier. Hopefully I will make it to Target to look. I have seen lots of decorative ones there.
