Whew! glad that's over.

Command Homecoming is done!

Happy to say that all our sailors are home with their loved ones.

I'm very thankful for the opportunity I had to organize this homecoming. It was great to be there when all 7 helo's came home a few days ago and see all the families reunite. Dad's meeting babies for the first time, was priceless.

Welcome Home, Dragonslayers!

Welcome Home!

Due to OPSEC I couldn't post anything about when this would happen, but our Cheif is HOME!!!!

He came in a few days ago. He was selected as senior enlisted person to come back for the early det. It's a small crew to get the squadron ready for the rest of the commands homecoming.

We can't say how HAPPY we are for him to be home. He's  had the last few days off and it's been so great having him home.

We've been doing things likes going to the movies and to the pool.

He made it home for our 11 year anniversary on Friday. We hired a babysitter for the first time ever and went to out for a fancy dinner. It was so nice!

Both of us will be getting ready for homecoming over the next few weeks, I've been planning homecoming since the FRG will be doing all the preparations.

Home

We are home. We got in this weekend. Due to Josh's orders changing at the drop of pin we had to come home earlier than we thought. He drove us home and is staying a few days with us before he goes back. We are unable at this time to disclose any of his deployment schedule. If and when I am able to I will send out an email with that information.

This week will be spent enjoying lots of family time at home. And seeing some friends.....

Home Again

We made it home last night after 11 hours with terrible grouchy kids. I was so glad to get home. However, I came home to a nasty smelling house. Rory has totally destroyed the couches with her nasty dog smell and when we walked in last night it was horrible. No amount of deotorizing spray helps, so we are going to have to figure something else out. Probably new couches. Preferable Leather.

I have tons of stuff to get done, grocery shopping, enrolling Aynslee in Preschool, unpacking and the usual stuff.

Keep checking for new pictures we took a ton!
