HollyWood Studio's and my B'day

Sugar insisted I get into the picture with them.
(not my best picture)
Spice with Handy Manny.
For some odd reason Sugar didn't want to have
her picture taken with him.

Sugar sitting on I guess a pod racer.
She rode the Star Wars 3D ride with me and loved it.

Us waiting for, "The Beauty and the Beast" to start.

Worn out!

Being silly.

We had one day left on our tickets for Disney so we decided to go use it during the week. Just so happened that my b'day this year was on a Tues.
We stayed at my brothers house the night before,
they live 20 minutes from Disney.
Then hit the park early that morning.
It was crowded for a Tues in April.
Even though it was hot and crowded we enjoyed our day.
We ended up going to DownTown Disney for dinner.
I won't be eating at the Rain Forest there again.
It's pricey and the food wasn't that great.
I don't mind paying for good food
but when it doesn't taste good that's another thing.
I did get that cake for free and let them sing to me for the first time EVER.
It was a great day!

Spice kept saying she wanted to meet Terrence.
I wasn't sure if he'd be there.
But to all of our surprise he was!
Daddy's friend was with us and Terrence told him,
"That's a funny acorn you have on your head."
We all laughed.
Fairies wear acorns on their heads instead of hats.

We had the best time!
I was so glad to get to do this trip as a family and have daddy's friends join us.
We stayed in the resort and did the dining plan.
The dining plan paid for itself the very first night.
It was a really relaxed trip.
We can't wait to go back!

more characters......

a busy magical week

As much as I love Disney World, I am really glad to be home. I feel like I could sleep for 2 days straight.

I'll start with our accommodations, I was pleasantly surprised by the All Star Resorts rooms. They were a lot nicer than I had heard. I would compare it to The Hampton Inn. The staff there was great, always pleasant. We had a cafeteria on site which had lots of different things to pick from, breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I will say that they only way to do a Disney vacation is to stay on site and purchase the dining plan. It was fabulous. I only bought 2 extra meals the entire week for Avery since she's under 2 the dining plan didn't include her. She was able to eat off of our plates at the buffets which was also very nice.

Our first night we ate at Cap May's at the Beach Club Resort it was a buffet and the food did not disappoint. There was great salad bar, lots of seafood, two different kinds of soups along with chicken and roast. The desserts were beyond words ya'll know how I love my sweets! They had this oreo bon bon it was sinfully delicious along with a key lime tart. YUM O!!!!!

Tuesday morning we dined at the Ohana at the Polynesian resort for a family style character breakfast. The kids got to meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.

Tuesday night we headed back to the Polynesian for a Luau where the food again was family style, with a starter of pineapple bread and a salad with a poppy seed vinaigrette. The main course consisted of chicken, ribs, rice and steamed veggies. Our server there was great and the show was really good.

Wednesday was our night at the Cinderella dinner so everyone else just got what they wanted.

Thursday night we ate at Trails End in Fort Wilderness, it was a little time consuming to get there. We had to take a bus to the Wilderness Lodge then walk a mile or more around the resort to a boat dock take a small ferry to Fort Wilderness. This was probably my least favorite place to eat. It consisted of a salad bar, fried chicken, ribs, pasta, mac and cheese, pizza and some vegetables. The thing I liked the most was the potato casserole and the Mr Pibb. Most of the sodas there are coke products and they don't have Dr. Pepper or Mr Pibb. That was the highlight of my dinner that night.

Friday night we ventured off resort and ate at Outback Steakhouse which was a circus. It took us an hour for our table that was with call ahead seating but it was a party of 13 so that's probably why the wait was so long. Once we sat down at our table we were there for an hour and a half, it's really hard keeping Avery at a table for that long so we had a few meltdowns from her plus she got sick at the table and cleared Uncle Luke and Logan out.

I am really thankful to my in laws for taking us on this vacation. It was a great week for us. It helped the girls keep there minds off of missing there daddy because they were so busy. They love all their cousins and really enjoyed getting to spend time with them. Aynslee wanted Patrick and Piper to come home with her.

Dinner with Cinderella

Drizella

Mommy with her Princesses

Gran with all her granddaughters

My sister in law had booked us for a tea party but when we arrived at the Grand Floridian we found out it was high tea, not a tea party with princesses like we thought. When she saw the girls all dressed up she said she'd go check on something. She came back and told us she could get us into the dinner with Cinderella. This was the highlight of our entire vacation for me. Avery was beyond excited when she saw Cinderella. Our table was the second one she came to and when Avery went up to her she picked up her dress and curtsied in front of her. It was the cutest thing! The dinner was fabulous like all the food on the resort. Thank you Gran for a wonderful time with Cinderella.
