Fun!

Yesterday was the Wing Christmas Party for the kids.

It's the first time we've ever gone.

They had this slide, a bounce house, cotton candy, popcorn and lots of crafts for the kids.

And pizza for lunch.

Santa arrived and handed out gifts.

The girls had such a great time!

The weather has been cooler here the last few days.

I love this time of year.

So we have been enjoying our backyard.

We went out to play with the sidewalk chalk Auntie Kelly sent

Aynslee for her birthday.

The girls had so much fun.

They love being outside.

My mom sent Aynslee, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, to watch.

So tonight I made homemade pizza, the girls got their baths right after dinner so they could watch the movie. I popped up some popcorn and moved their comfy chairs out in the living room for them.

Yesterday, Josh had an appointment on base the base he used to work on which is an hour away. So he suggested we go to the beach and eat at my favorite place, Joe's Crab Shack. Just so happens that I had a coupon for that restaurant. The food was great the company was even better, it was a great little outing.

Then we headed over to the base for his appointment the girls and I went into the Nex while we waiting on daddy. We stopped by the children's consignment store where I got some great deals on some summer stuff for Aynslee and a pair of jeans for Avery.

I think we are staying home today. I have some things I need to get done.

We are just enjoying Josh's time off before he leaves. If you haven't yet check out his blogs, Josh goes to the Land of Sand and Flat Stanley Goes Navy.

home again

We got home this afternoon from my brothers house. We had a nice weekend. We left on Friday to stopped by a friends house to visit them. WE got lost, Tom Tom got a little confused on the way there but we found our way.

My brothers house is so nice, it's so big and open. The pool area or "outdoor living room" is out of this world. It has trees surrounding the pool. It looks like a jungle. It's so quiet. We had dinner last night out there it was wonderful, it's own little oasis.

My girls had such a good time. They were very upset to leave today. Aynslee and Brooke played together all weekend. And Avery was Samantha's little shadow. My mom was there too so we all got to have a nice visit.

Josh and Brian took out his doon buggy yesterday morning for a ride. The weather was perfect yesterday and today. Then Brian took me in the doon buggy to get some stuff for dinner but it broke down on us and we almost had to push it home. Luckily he got it were he could drive it home and we just took his car to the store.

Aynslee wanted to go swimming so bad but the water was way to cold. She asked me after we got home if we could go back tomorrow and go swimming.

We are headed out again so I'll update as I can over the next week.

a morning at the Park

We went to the park this morning with a few of our friends from playgroup. I had no idea that this park was there. It's on one of the Naval bases that was closed in 1999. It's very close to our house. The city uses it now for industrial things and the Coast Guard has a command there.

This park is out near a Lake. It was so quiet and shady. The girls had a great time. Avery was climbing all over the slides and playing like such a big girl. They were both filthy when we got home and needed a bath. Avery likes to eat dirt among other things and kept walking off, exploring. She is so busy!

We went to the beach with Papa and Ty whil they were here over the weekend. Every one had such a good time. (except mommy bc I was chasing Avery)

Avery loved the sand she ate a lot of it.

She loves the beach so much she cries when it's time to go home.
